High Horse – September Playlist

Welcome back for another addition to the High Horse monthly playlist! 

An hour-ish delight, (mostly) featuring musicians who you might not have heard of (yet) and are currently touring. The idea is, you can hear someone you might not have heard before and then go out and see a live show.

We want to have a solid mix of genres and sounds, so that there is something here for everyone. We hope it gets a little weird. However, here at the High Horse, we don’t really like rules and will probably deviate from all of the guiding principles we just set up. Because, you know, anarchy.

This month’s lineup is a psychedelic kaleidoscope of music that runs the gamut! Vintage garage-psych to horn-driven proto-metal, including long-time High Horse favorites: Timber Timbre, Shannon & The Clams, Blonde Redhead, the legendary Kid Congo, and Mr. Gnome.

This month’s playlist features:

• Timber Timbre: Two shows in Canada coming up
• Daniel Romano: multi-city Euro tour October and November
• The Budos Band: two Colorado shows in November 
• Shannon & The Clams: Currently on tour across the US in October and Europe in November
• Abby Webster: on tour through September!
• La Luz: on tour in US and Europe September-November
• Blonde Redhead: September-October shows in the US with a Mexico show in November
• Mr. Gnome: Fall US tour
• Kid Congo & The Pink Monkey Birds: On tour September-October

Maybe say hi to the artist after the show and realize that we are all part of a rad collective community and that we actually live in a giant small town.
