my father scolded me
in the street
for not respecting
his mental health
following
his divorce
from my mother
years later
the cinema
burnt down
Oblivious
I organised
my own intervention
my family
stared at me
with blank expressions
then talked
about what
a happy child
I had been
Unclaimed
There was
a parcel at work
that no one
collected for
ten days
the courier
took it back
I don’t know
what happened
to the parcel
after that
